Maximilian Busch finished his general university entrance qualification (Abitur) together with the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) in his hometown Bonn in 2011. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Technical University of Munich in Mechanical Engineering and Management in 2015 with an internship at KUKA Systems GmbH. Maximilian continued his master studies with focus on control systems and robotics, finishing with the Master’s degree in Mechatronics and Information Technology in 2017. After working for half a year at a local research institute for softwareintensive systems and services in the development of autonomous driving systems, he started his PhD. studies at the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (iwb) in August 2018. His main research focus is the application of machine learning techniques in order to improve the accuracy of robotic milling systems.
