Curriculum Vitae
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1995), Master in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1998) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor (2005). As researcher, she worked at the University of Maryland – College Park (1998-2000), at Whirlpool S/A – Embraco Unit (2006-2012), and since 2012, she is at the Bionanomanufacturing Center of the Institute for Technological Research (IPT). Has experience in coordinating research projects with national and international universities and institutes. In the area of Thermal Sciences, worked on the (i) analysis, design and manufacture of thermoelectric microdevices, (ii) analysis and design of components and cooling systems. In the Micromanufacturing area she operates in activities focused on (iii) optimization of microfabrication processes, (iv) development of sensors, (v) development of microfluidic devices.
